Getting Here Information

Bus

The X3 bus operated by First Bus stops on the main road behind Magna and runs from Sheffield to Doncaster via Meadowhall and Rotherham up to every 20 minutes - see travelsouthyorkshire.com

Additionally, a festival shuttle bus operated by Stagecoach (services X3a and X3b) will operate from around 4pm each day running to Magna from Meadowhall Interchange (stand C3) and Rotherham Interchange (stand B7), up to every 30 minutes with a fare of £2.50 per ride. Please note that other tickets and passes cannot be used on the shuttle bus.

Train

Meadowhall is the closest railway station to Magna: board the X3 bus from the attached bus station for the 5 minute ride to GBBF Winter.

The X3 bus also picks up close to Sheffield and Rotherham Central railway stations.

Additionally a festival shuttle bus will operate from around 4pm each day running to Magna from Meadowhall Interchange and Rotherham Interchange up to every 30 minutes with a fare of £2.50 per ride

Tram

For the 2025 festival the best tram stop is Meadowhall Interchange on the Yellow route, where you can connect with the X3 bus for a 5 minute ride to Magna.

Alternatively Magna is just over a miles walk from the Meadowhall South tram stop, which is served by the Yellow route and Tram Train around every 12-15 minutes until midnight.

For the 2026 festival, it is hoped that Magna will have its very own tram station on the Tram Train line (Sheffield Cathedral - Rotherham Central station - Parkgate).

Coach

National Express, Megabus and Flixbus call at Meadowhall Interchange. From here jump on the X3 bus for the 5 minute ride to Magna.
